Bakufu Slump (Japanese: 爆風スランプ, Hepburn: Bakufū Suranpu) was a Japanese rock band originally active between 1981 and 1999. During the 1980s and '90s the band was "hugely popular" in Japan.

Among their best known songs was "Runner".

Drummer Funky Sueyoshi went on to form X.Y.Z. with Minoru Niihara, former lead vocalist of Japanese metal band Loudness.
