George Robert "Bob"Crosby (August 23, 1913 – March 9, 1993) was an American singer, bandleader and actor, known for his group the Bob-Cats, a New Orleans Dixieland-style jazz octet, which formed around 1935. He was the younger brother of Bing Crosby. On TV, Bob guest-starred in The Gisele MacKenzie Show and was also seen on The Jack Benny Program. Bob hosted his own afternoon TV variety show on CBS, The Bob Crosby Show (1953–1957). Bob received stars for television and radio on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, .
