The recipient of various accolades, including an Academy Award and three Golden Globe Awards, Roberts is considered one of the most bankable actresses in Hollywood, with over 20 of her leading actress films having earned at least $100 million at the box office. She established herself as a leading lady in Hollywood after headlining the romantic comedy film Pretty Woman (1990), which grossed $464 million worldwide.
