Mono Puff is a New York City-based band, supergroup and a side project of John Flansburgh, one of the founding members of They Might Be Giants.

The main band consisted of Flansburgh, the vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist, and songwriter; bassist Hal Cragin; and drummer Steve Calhoon of Skeleton Key, Enon and Pretendo. Various guest musicians supplemented the trio, notably Mark Feldman, Yuval Gabay (of Soul Coughing), Ghost Krabb, Mary Birdsong (as "Sugar Puff"), Elina Löwensohn, Flansburgh's wife Robin Goldwasser (as "Sister Puff"), Kate Flannery (as "Lady Puff"), Ammonia D, Trini Lopez, Jay Sherman-Godfrey, Jim O'Connor, Phil Hernandez, Frank London, Eric Schermerhorn, and Mike Viola. Artwork for the band's albums and singles was done by Flansburgh.

Mono Puff became inactive in 1998 due to the relocation of some of the core members, though Flansburgh has expressed interest in pursuing further recordings.

In mid-2020, it was announced that Mono Puff has reformed and would release an EP in 2021 to be initially distributed via the They Might Be Giants Instant Fan Club, their first release in over two decades.
