Shuhada Sadaqat (born 8 December 1966), better known as Sinéad O'Connor, is an Irish singer-songwriter. Her debut album, The Lion and the Cobra, released in 1987, charted internationally and her single "Nothing Compares 2 U," released in 1990, was named the number one world single by the Billboard Music Awards.
